The Anglo-Caribbean architecture, light and airy interiors and expansive outdoor living spaces of this custom designed home reflect the understated elegance of the Windsor lifestyle.  This thoughtfully designed residence blends the privacy of a personal compound within a village setting. Bright flowers frame the welcoming entrances and wood-shingled hip roofs define a series of indoor and outdoor living areas, each suffused with natural light and open to cool breezes.  

The ground floor features a series of rooms organized around a central garden on three sides, with each living space having access to a covered loggia.   The design of this courtyard residence creates visual connections between the spaces, while maintaining privacy within the home.  The dark stained polished concrete floors anchor tall interior rooms, and extend outdoors to the loggia, where Dupuis columns define the covered space. 

Windows and French doors line both sides of the bright living room that runs along the north side of the residence. A stone fireplace adds quiet grandeur to the room, and white wood shutters, with a delicate hand-carved pattern, provide privacy from the street while adding a whimsical touch.

Beside the main entry is a ground-floor master suite, complete with two immense walk-in closets and a bright, spacious bath.  Its French doors open out to a vista that stretches the entire length of the swimming pool toward the open-air cabana.  On the opposite side of the entry is a second bedroom and bath suite, a laundry room and a powder room.  A stairway off the gracious entry hall leads up to a third bedroom suite, complete with a lavishly appointed bathroom, walk-in closet, a secured storage closet and a covered balcony that welcomes the morning sun.

The kitchen is open to the spacious family room where casual living and dining take place.  The bright and airy family room overlooks the pool to the south and features a 19-foot ceiling and full height windows, which flood the room with natural light.  The charming kitchen, with a custom tile backsplash, painted cabinet interiors and glass front doors, features marble counters and a built-in island.  A two-car garage has direct access into the kitchen and family room through a charming mudroom, finished with bead board paneling and built in storage.

 A staircase off the family room ascends to a sitting area that provides access to two separate bedroom and bath suites.  The sitting room features an open railing that borrows natural light while overlooking the family room below and offers a cozy place to read a book or watch TV.  These quarters are completely separate from the other bedrooms, creating an ideal for situation for guests.
