On Thursday, January 26th, Windsor held a pop-up dinner with the famed New York culinary institution Le Cirque. Mauro Macciono, Le Cirque co-owner and son of the restaurant’s founder Sirio Maccioni, hosted the special event, which featured some of the eatery’s most beloved recipes from its contemporary European menu.

“It was a true pleasure to bring our Le Cirque culinary heritage to Windsor,” said Mauro Macciono, Le Cirque co-owner. “We look forward to more collaborations between the restaurant and community.”

More than 100 Windsor Members and their guests gathered at Windsor’s Beach Club for the special event, which kicked off with a cocktail hour and was followed by a four-course meal including marinated tuna, scallops black tie, roasted veal chop and a dessert trio consisting of creme brûlée, chocolate fondant and apple tatin. Mauro Maccioni led guests through each course and shared interesting anecdotes about the history of the restaurant and his family’s experiences in the culinary world.  At the evening’s conclusion, guests received a copy of A Table at Le Cirque: Stories and Recipes from New York’s Most Legendary Restaurant by Sirio Maccioni.
