Beatriz Milhazes: Screenprints 1996 – 2011, the exhibition currently on view in The Gallery at Windsor, has extended its stay until April 20, 2012. Originally scheduled to close in February, 2012, the exhibit has been so favorably received that it will be held over for an additional time period.

Windsor announces the appointment of Katrina Rank as the new Manager for The Gallery at Windsor, the not-for-profit art space that sits in the heart of the Windsor development in Vero Beach. Beginning immediately, Ms. Rank will oversee all gallery operations and administration. She will report to Robert Gallagher, the Windsor Club’s general manager.

Bold. Vivid. Freewheeling. Joyful. The adjectives can be aptly applied to both the tropical climes of Brazil and the sourthern reaches of Florida. They're also rightly -- and frequently -- applied to the work of Beatriz Milhazes. The Brazilian artist captures a distinctly South American spirit with paintings marked by bright colors and strong shapes. It's certainly fitting, then, that Milhazes will be the first artist to exhibit at the Gallery at Windsor, in Florida, as part of a new collaboration with London's famed Whitechapel Gallery.
