Windsor Charity Polo Cup

Overview

The Windsor Charity Polo Cup is a biennial event that takes place on Saturday, February 15 at Windsor, a private sporting club community located on a barrier island in Vero Beach, Florida. Recognized as the premier high goal charity polo match of the season, the 2012 inaugural event featured an exciting roster of top-level international polo players including Mike Azzaro, Memo Gracida, Lucas Monteverde, Tommy Biddle, Julian Daniels, Nick Manifold, Salvatore Ferragamo, Max Secunda, and celebrity television personality John Walsh.

The Hon. Hilary M. Weston, co-founder and Creative Director of Windsor and former Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will be joined by Salvatore Ferragamo, grandson of the esteemed Italian footwear designer and leader of his family’s expanding wine business, as the event's Honorary Co-Chairs.  The 2014 Event Co-Chairs are Windsor Members Kjestine Bijur and Susan Knott. Proceeds from the 2014 event will directly benefit the Rett Syndrome Research Trust and Indian River County School District: “Summer Literacy on the Lagoon”.

Match attendees can either enjoy an elegant tented field-side champagne luncheon or a picnic in the festive field-side tailgating area. In addition, on Friday, February 14, an exclusive cocktail party is planned for premier sponsors of the event.
