Founded in 2002, The Gallery at Windsor is an independent art space. The Gallery, which is home to important works from the George Weston Collection, invites curators to respond to the space with museum quality shows of contemporary paintings, works on paper and photography.
The Gallery has exhibited works by leading contemporary artists including Peter Doig, Bruce Weber and Nan Bush, Ed Ruscha, Christo and Jeanne-Claude, Alex Katz and Tony Scherman.
2014 marked the culmination of a ground-breaking three-year curatorial partnership with The Whitechapel Gallery, London. This partnership realized exhibitions by Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes, Romanian-born twin brothers, Gert & Uwe Tobias, and American Icon Jasper Johns.
Currently on display are selections from The Weston Collection including the work of Horia Damian, Tony Scherman and Christo & Jeanne-Claude.
Individuals and small groups of 10 or less are invited to tour the gallery, with all tours scheduled by appointment only. The Gallery is open to the public on Thursdays from 10:00 AM 5:00 PM. Special arrangements outside of published gallery hours can be made with advance notice. Contact the gallery with questions and/or requests at 772 388 4071 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
