Founded in 2002, The Gallery at Windsor is an independent art space. The Gallery, which is home to important works from the George Weston Collection, invites curators to respond to the space with museum quality shows of contemporary paintings, works on paper and photography.
The Gallery has exhibited works by leading contemporary artists including Peter Doig, Bruce Weber and Nan Bush, Ed Ruscha, Christo and Jeanne-Claude, Alex Katz and most recently Tony Scherman.
Artworks by internationally renowned Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes will go on display from December through the end of April 2012. This show represents the first exhibition in the curatorial partnership between London’s Whitechapel Gallery and The Gallery at Windsor.
Individuals and small groups of 10 or less are invited to tour the gallery, with all tours scheduled by appointment only. Gallery hours are: Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; weekends 10:00 AM 5:00 PM. Special arrangements outside of published gallery hours can be made with advance notice.
