About the Foundation
Established in 2015, The Windsor Charitable Foundation, a 501c3 organization, was created as an avenue for Windsor Members to give back to the local community. Its primary goal is to use the power of philanthropy to change people’s lives and improve our community.
The Windsor Charitable Foundation’s primary goal is to use the power of philanthropy to change people’s lives and improve the local community. The Foundation raises funds from within the Windsor community, and through fundraising events for the purpose of making grants to fund programs offered by local charitable organizations. Primarily, grants are awarded to support basic human needs such as food, shelter, assistance with disabilities and health issues, children’s education, medical research, protecting the environment and animal advocacy. In addition, the Foundation provides support to Windsor Properties and Club employees experiencing unforeseen hardship.
Past Events
The Windsor Charitable Foundation has raised significant funds in recent years with a variety of special events. In 2024, the Windsor Charity Polo Cup, chaired by Windsor co-founder, The Hon. Hilary M. Weston, and presented by PNC Bank, raised $400,000 in net proceeds for three local charities: The Homeless Children’s Foundation of Indian River County, The Indian River Land Trust, and Ballet Vero Beach. The Gallery at Windsor also raises funds for local arts education and donated $8,000 in 2024 for Vero Beach Museum of Art’s Summer Arts Camp Scholarship Fund.
