Established in 2015, The Windsor Charitable Foundation, a 501c3 organization, was created as an avenue for Windsor Members to give back to the local community. In 2017, through the generous donations of our Membership, the Foundation made grants to individual Windsor employees who were suffering a hardship. The Foundation was also the depository for all donations and payments made on behalf of the 2016 and 2018 Windsor Charity Polo Cups, allowing Windsor to give back one hundred percent of the event proceeds to our designated beneficiaries.
The Windsor Charitable Foundation’s primary goal is to use the power of philanthropy to change people’s lives and improve our community. The Foundation raises funds from within the Windsor community and through fundraising events for the purpose of making grants to fund programs offered by local and national non-profit agencies. The Foundation seeks to make grants to agencies whose programs contribute to the health and vitality of the community. Primarily, grants are awarded to support basic human needs such as food, shelter, assistance with disabilities/health issues, children’s education, medical research as well as animal advocacy. In addition, the Foundation provides support to Windsor employees experiencing unforeseen hardship.
